Welcome to Kapa Hale!
I am a proud graduate of Kalani High School and the Culinary Institute of the Pacific - Kapiolani Community College. My culinary career has taken me to many places around the world and I have found my chance to share my style of food in my old neighborhood. I was inspired by the Hawaiian practice of making kapa and how the different patterns and shapes tell a story. I see a plate as a blank piece of kapa and let my imagination play with the ingredients to tell my story as a chef. I hope you will join me and my family on my food journey as we create stories together. You will find Kapa Hale nestled in a small corner in the same Kahala neighborhood I grew up in. I look forward to welcoming you and your family to Kapa Hale. -Keaka Lee Chef, Owner |
Kapa Hale will have a modern influence on Hawai`i Regional Cuisine. We will promote local products and combine them with familiar ethnic influences to showcase a cuisine that can only be found in today's Hawai`i. Kapa Hale will be Hawai`i’s new neighborhood eatery located in the Waialae-Kahala District.
Inspired by Hawaiian, American, European & Asian flavors, we will incorporate the stories of local farmers and the fresh produce from our islands.
Kapa Hale will have a chef driven concept, where Chef Keaka Lee and his team will design the menu on flavor, creativity, and execution.
